Web based mediums such as Facebook, Twitter, a community blog, a project website, email marketing (Eblasts) and banner ads were used to drive traffic to a “Take Action” website. Users could quickly and easily submit preformatted and/or customized letters of support to the Bureau of Land Management (BLM). The comments/letters were used to help the BLM decide if they were expand mine operations and do a land exchange.
